Asian Beef Short Ribs


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless beef short ribs, cut in 3 in pieces

  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced 

Marinade: 

  • ¼ c soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp chili paste

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp ginger paste

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp crushed red chili pepper 

  • salt and black pepper, to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 300 F. 

  2. Whisk all of the marinade ingredients together in a small bowl until well combined.

  3. Place the short ribs in one layer in an oven safe dish.

  4. Pour the marinade over the beef, making sure each piece is evenly covered on both sides. 

  5. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and place in the oven for 2 ½ hours. 

  6. Remove the beef from the oven and flip each short rib. Place the dish back in the oven, uncovered, for 30 more minutes.

  7. Remove from the oven and serve the beef with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, veggies, etc.
