One Pan Lemon Pepper Chicken


Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in thin pieces

  • 2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning

  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes

  • 3/4 cup chicken broth

  • 1 tbsp heavy cream

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • chopped parsly/cilantro


Instructions:

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts generously with lemon pepper seasoning. If your seasoning does not already include salt, season with salt to your preference.

  2. Dredge each piece of chicken in the flour making sure to shake off any excess.

  3. Heat up olive oil in a large skillet on medium high heat. Saute the chicken in batches, making sure not to crowd the pan, until cooked through and golden brown on both sides.

  4. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

  5. In the same skillet, add butter, garlic, and red chili flakes. Saute for 1 minute, then add the chicken broth and cream.

  6. Bring the sauce to a boil, then add back the chicken and lemon slices.

  7. Let the chicken simmer on low for 1-2 minutes, then remove from the heat and garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro.
